The captivating sound of Melbourne duo Husky’s new LP Punchbuzz is of a band re-birthed. Having drawn upon recent inspirations from a year in Berlin, they’ve delivered their most exciting and experimental album yet.
Punchbuzz sees the band swapping their signature folk sound for streamlined indie rock that lopes ahead with widescreen atmosphere. It more than lives up to the dynamic imperative of its title. The singles ‘Late Night Store’ and ‘Ghost’ have collected 8 million streams and are earning them a growing global audience.
Punchbuzz follows on from their breakthrough debut Forever So (released internationally via SubPop) and stellar sophomore Ruckers Hill.
